A common problem some of our clients experience when integrating flash SWF’s on the page is that the movie will be resized differently to what is shown in the link manager to what is on the page. The reason for this is that the flash preview on the enriched manager resizes the swf if there are elements that are outside the canvas area in flash.
To resolve this we have created the ability to turn off the flash preview and thereby restrict the elements to just the dimensions of the box you set on the page, you will then have to check the flash movie in the preview publication version.
To apply this option to the enriched manager, simply follow the instructions below:
1. Open the enriched link manager
2. On the top menu go to Window > Show media preview
3. Uncheck this option to disable the flash preview
4. Integrate your flash movies in the usual way and use the preview publication to see the end result
